and other dailies. First released in 2003, Frame Thrower™ streamlines the lengthy production process
associated with creating the digital special effects that form the backbone of today's films and video games.
Frame Thrower is available in three models. The fFT2 is designed to be connected to CRT or LCD
computer monitors. Using RGB or DVI connection the FT2 provides resolutions up to 2560 x 1600.
The FT2 HD-SDI provides HD-SDI output for use with broadcast monitors and projectors. This version provides dual link
4:4:4 at up to 2048 by 1080.
The FT2 3D provides dual stream HD-SDI output for use with digital cinema projectors or dual link DVI for use with 3D capable monitors. This version provides dual stream
4:2:2 at up to 2048 by 1080.
All support reliable real-time uncompressed playback of 2048 x 1556 images at 24fps, 1920 x 1080 images at 30fps, or 1280x720 images at 60fps.
